The Department of Library, Excel Engineering College – Autonomous, inaugurated the Readers’ Club on 08 August 2026 at the VKR Central Library of the institution.

The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 110 students, making the inauguration a truly grand and memorable occasion. A key highlight of the programme was the guest lecture delivered by Dr. K. Sadagoban, Resource Person, who shared valuable insights into the importance of reading and offered practical tips for developing strong and consistent reading habits among students. The session inspired students to embrace reading as a lifelong habit and emphasized its role in enhancing knowledge, critical thinking, creativity, communication skills, and personal growth.
