The sole purpose of our ED Cell is to create awareness on innovation and entrepreneurship within young minds and encourage Start-up ventures. It also aims to inspire and nurture the new generation by providing a platform for entrepreneurial creativity. In these recent times Entrepreneurship is on the increase on a day-to-day basis and it also contributes to the economic growth of the nation. Even the Indian Government has recognized the importance of entrepreneurship and has started “Start-up India” programme for encouraging entrepreneurship. Various schemes and benefits are launched for the beginners to come up with new business ideas. The aim of Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) at Excel Engineering College is to develop and strengthen entrepreneurial qualities in the students who are interested in starting their own ventures and new business activities. The college supports the students’ novel ideas and provides infrastructure, amenities and technical support to them to develop new products and services for the betterment of the society. The EDC provides all the support they need like planning, mentoring and time related execution according to their aspirations for their start up ideas to be converted into real business ventures.

• To create awareness of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship skills through the conduct of courses, seminars, workshops, webinars, etc. 
• To motivate students to develop their own start-ups 
• To organize NOVEL IDEA competitions for the students 
• To guide and assist students on various aspects such as preparing project reports, obtaining project approvals, loans and facilities from agencies of financial support and information on various technologies 
• To arrange industrial visits for the students 
• To conduct skill development training programmes leading to self/contract employment
