The Agricultural Engineering Department started during the Academic Year 2018-19 with an intake of 60 students. We have well established laboratories, well qualified faculty members with various specializations such as Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, Farm Machinery and Power, Bio Energy Resources, Agricultural Process Engineering, Food and Dairy Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Mechanical Engineering etc., We are regularly conducting the events like Industrial Visits, Student Internships, Industrial Projects, Seminar, Symposiums, Conferences, Workshops, Field Demonstration, Signing MoU with reputed industries related to Agriculture sectors and other activities to enrich practical knowledge to students in all aspects. We are also arranging study Tour to students to update the industrial-Interaction. In addition, we are conducting Hands on Training programs, Value Added Courses, Online certification courses to all the students invariably. For the placement opportunities, we are taking at-most care on student’s career through conducting Training on soft skills, communication development, aptitude training, Group Discussions, Mock Interviews. Hence, I encourage all the stakeholders to visit the department and institution to know more about the Teaching Learning process, Farming Techniques, Infrastructure Facilities , Career Opportunities, etc.,. also our graduates play a vital role in society to meet the agricultural production in the society.
