The Department of Medical Laboratory Technology organized a guest lecture on “Role of Laboratory Investigations in Cardiovascular Diseases and Safe Blood Transfusion from Donor to Recipient.” The session was delivered by Mrs. C. Princy Naveena, who provided valuable insights into cardiovascular diseases, diagnostic investigations, blood grouping, cross-matching, donor screening, and safe transfusion practices. 

The lecture also highlighted the importance of early diagnosis, patient safety, prevention of transfusion-related complications, and recent advancements in biomedical technologies. Students actively participated in the interactive session and clarified their doubts regarding laboratory procedures and blood transfusion practices.
