  • To provide Engineers to meet the global requirements of Technocrats.

M1 – To acquire technical skills and receive quality education through innovative teaching and learning methods.

M2 – To encourage collaboration between industry and institution to provide training opportunities that enhance employable skills.

M3 – To participate in community outreach initiatives that apply mechanical engineering expertise and ethical principles to tackle social challenges.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEO’S)

Diploma Mechanical Engineers will be able to,

PEO1 –  Apply technical knowledge to support the production industries for sustainable development.

PEO2 – Adopt modern tools, technology and advanced software for problem solving in industries.

PEO3 – establish leadership excellence with ethics in the mechanical field to fulfil social needs.

PSO

1. Able to apply the concepts of design, thermal and manufacturing in the engineering industry.

2. Able to use knowledge in automation and maintenance to improve product quality in the industry.

Basic and discipline-specific knowledge: Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialisation

to solve the engineering problems.

Problem analysis: Identify and analyse well-defined engineering problems using codified standard methods.
 PO3Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.
