An Industrial Visit was organized for the students of the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department to Salzer Electronics Ltd., Samichettipalayam, Coimbatore. The primary objective of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to modern industrial manufacturing processes, quality assurance techniques, and automation technologies used in the production of electrical and electronic components.
Objectives
- To understand the manufacturing process of industrial switches and electrical components.
- To study the working principles and applications of relays, MCBs, and switching devices.
- To observe relay calibration procedures involving voltage and current settings.
- To gain knowledge about quality testing and inspection methods followed in industries.
- To understand modern production techniques, automation, and pneumatic systems used in manufacturing.
- To enhance practical knowledge of industrial production and export operations.
