The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Excel Polytechnic College, successfully organized a Guest Lecture on “Advanced CNC Automation & Digital Machining” on 22.01.2026. The session provided students with valuable insights into modern CNC technologies, digital machining, industrial automation, and current manufacturing practices, helping them understand the latest trends in the manufacturing sector. 

The programme commenced with a Welcome Address by Mr. R. Mani, who also served as the Programme Coordinator. Principal Prof. A. Subramanian delivered a motivating speech, encouraging students to enhance their technical skills and prepare for Industry 4.0. The Chief Guest was honoured by the Principal with a shawl and memento in recognition of the valuable contribution to the programme. The event concluded successfully, enriching the students’ technical knowledge and strengthening their industry readiness.
