Guest Lecture on 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing

 Topic                    : 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing. 

                  The “Guest Lecturer – II” program on 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing was conducted on 03.07.2026 at the Communication Lab to introduce students to modern manufacturing technologies and their industrial applications. The program began at 10:00 AM with prayer, welcome address, and inauguration by the HOD and Excelians, followed by the Presidential Address by Prof. A. Subramanian, Principal, and Felicitation Address by Mr. M. Srikanth, VP/HOD, Mechanical Engineering. Er. Mr. M. Sanjay, Assistant Professor, Aeronautical Engineering, Excel Engineering College, delivered the Chief Guest Address and explained FDM, SLA, SLS, DLP, materials, design considerations, and applications of 3D printing in aerospace, engineering, automotive, healthcare, and manufacturing.  

                 The session also highlighted Industry 4.0, emerging trends, career opportunities, and innovative product development. Students gained practical awareness of additive manufacturing and were motivated to explore advanced manufacturing technologies. The program concluded at 12:00 PM with the Vote of Thanks by Excelians.
