Department of Technician X Ray – Technology
Vision
To train X-ray technician students with good knowledge in imaging, NDT, and human body basics, helping them build skills to support hospitals, industries, and the community.
Mission
- To provide quality education and hands-on training in radiographic imaging techniques, non-destructive testing (NDT), and human anatomy.
- To enhance technical and practical skills through industry-relevant workshops, lab sessions, and real-time applications.
- To prepare socially responsible and job-ready X-ray technicians who can contribute effectively to healthcare, industry, and community welfare.
Program Educational Objectives (PEO)
- Apply knowledge of imaging techniques and human anatomy to carry out safe and accurate adopt diagnostic procedures in hospitals and healthcare facilities.
- Practical skills and technical methods in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and imaging to meet the needs of various industrial applications.
- Establish themselves as responsible professionals who support community health, follow ethical standards, and pursue continuous learning in radiographic technology.
Program Specific Outcome (PSO)
- Students will be able to safely and correctly use X-ray and NDT equipment in hospitals and industries.
- Students will be able to use their knowledge of the human body, imaging, and ethics to help with accurate diagnosis and support community health.
