The Entrepreneurship Development Program, “TECHPRENEURS: Building Startups in Data Science & Cybersecurity,” was successfully conducted on October 8, 2024, at Excel College for Commerce and Science, Komarapalayam. With over 130 participants, the event began with inaugural addresses from Dr. M. Gomathi, Dr. K. Manjula, Dr. R. VimalNishant, and Dr. T. Shankar. Motivational speaker and entrepreneur Ms. S. Aiswarya Lakshmi delivered the keynote session, sharing her entrepreneurial journey, discussing emerging trends, and leading interactive sessions on ideation, prototyping, and pitching startups. The program concluded with a vote of thanks from Mrs. S. Punithavalli, leaving participants inspired and motivated to pursue entrepreneurial ventures in Data Science and Cybersecurity, after an engaging day of brainstorming, teamwork, and creativity.

The event’s impact was evident in the enthusiastic feedback from attendees, who praised the informative and interactive sessions. The Department of Data Science and Cybersecurity plans to organize similar initiatives to foster innovation and entrepreneurship among students.
