The Department of Biochemistry was established in the year 2020. The department is well equipped with necessary instruments for practical learning and to take minor projects. Our laboratories are equipped for a range of biological and biomedical techniques, whichcould undertake during degree. The Department has young, enthusiastic faculty members involved in teaching and research activities. It imparts training for students to make them competent in the field.  The department is known for its commitment to the development of students into a well-rounded individual. Resource persons from various institutions/organizations are invited for the students to get motivated for higher learning process. Faculty members and students regularly participate and present papers in National and International conferences/symposia/seminars. Several research papers have been published in the National and International Scientific Journals by our faculty members. The Department also offers certificate course in Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician for the students who aspire to go into administrative and clinical research.
