Excel College for Commerce and Science was established in 2018, by Rengaswamy Educational Trust, with the aim of providing an avenue of learning within easy reach to the growing young population of Komarapalayam and its environs. It was a natural augmentation by SRET, for the HSC Passed-out students of the various schools inclusive of the State Board, Matriculation and CBSE. Excel College for Commerce and Science had a humble beginning with only 180 students in its first batch of Arts stream and 80 students in science stream.

Our college has accomplished a spectacular growth over the last two years of its journey towards its excellence in Education and emerged as a leading Higher Educational Institution in Namakkal District. The present strength of our College for Arts & Science is 1334. The College has consistently attained outstanding results at academics in both thesestreams.

We sincerely believe that innovation, passion and the right technique can make learning effective and fun. The numerous feats and triumphs of our students in Academics, Co-Curricular, Extra-Curricular and Sports etc. attest to our commitment towards their overall development and welfare. Our team of experienced and dedicated educators and also the state-of-the-art infrastructure aids the learners to bring out their potential on cultivating talents in various activities
