The Department of Data Science and Cyber Security successfully organized a Research Methodology workshop focusing on Business Intelligence tools on 20th August 2024.

The event, coordinated by Dr. M. Gomathi, Head of the Department, and Mrs. A. Preethi, Assistant Professor of English, brought together 100 students who gained valuable insights into applying research methods using tools like Tableau and Power BI.

The Chief Guest, Mr. R. Prabhu, Managing Director of IFC InfoTech Software Solutions, delivered an impactful session covering data analysis, visualization, and practical applications, which was highly appreciated by the participants. The program concluded with positive feedback from students, who expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to enhance their skills, and the event ended on a high note with the Chief Guest commending the students for their active participation.

The workshop was a resounding success, thanks to the support and encouragement from the management of Excel College for Commerce and Science. The event not only equipped students with valuable skills but also reinforced the institution’s commitment to providing quality education and practical experiences.
