Vision

IQAC of Excel College for Commerce and Science was established with a vision to protract the quality metrics in all endeavors of academic, research, industrial linkages, and administrative operations in the growth of the Institution.

Mission

To assure that the students receive top-notch education from us.
To perform regular evaluations to guarantee the best possible academic and administrative practices at the college.
To create an environment that will encourage teaching, learning, and research.
To promote creative methods through self-evaluation, accountability, and autonomy in both academia and administration.
To uphold socio-developmental studies and implement training and consulting initiatives.
To maintain close ties with all stakeholders in order to promote and sustain high values of instruction.

Functions

Some of the functions expected of the IQAC are:

Fostering the development of a learner-centric environment supportive of quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the necessary knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning processes
Developing and implementing quality benchmarks/parameters for various academic and administrative activities for the institution.
Establishing procedures for teachers, students, alumni, parents, and other stakeholders to provide input on institutional processes linked to quality.
Disseminating data on various quality indicators of academic and administrative units
Planning workshops, seminars, conference & Symposia between and within institutions, on quality-related topics, and encouragement of quality circles
Documentation of the various programmes/activities leading to quality improvement
Serving as a nodal agency of the institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including the adoption and dissemination of best practices.
Creation and upkeep of institutional database using MIS in order to preserve and improve institutional quality
Establishing a quality culture within the institution
Drafting the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR), this will be submitted to NAAC, in accordance with its specifications.
