On 21st August 2024, the Department of Computer Science at Excel College for Commerce and Science, along with the Cybernauts Association, organized an Alumni Talk titled “Decentralized Future: Demystifying Cryptocurrency and DApp Creation.” The event, held in the A8 Block Computer Lab-I, saw the participation of 88 students eager to explore the world of blockchain technology.The program commenced at 10:00 a.m. with a welcome address by Ms. K. Gowshika,III B. Sc cs ,   Following this, the Principal, Dr. R. Vimal Nishant, delivered a felicitation address, encouraging students to stay informed about emerging technologies.Mrs.N.Sudha Assistant professor, introduced the guest speaker, Mr. M. Moganesan, a Blockchain Developer with Web3 Company in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and an accomplished alumnus of the college. Mr.M. Moganesan led the technical session, providing a comprehensive overview of cryptocurrency and the process of creating decentralized applications (DApps).
