Women’s Day on 08.03.2024
Excel College for Commerce and Science celebrated Women’s Day on 08.03.2024 as a grand celebration.
The event was presided over by Dr. AK Natesan, Chairman, Excel Education Institute and Dr. N. Madan Karthik, Vice- Chairman, in the presence of Dr. K Pommannaraja, Executive Director, Excel Education Group and Dr. R.Vimal Nishant, Principal, Excel College for Commerce and Science. Before the event Dr. P. Indrani, Assistant Professor, Department of Tamil gave a welcome address. Principal R.Vimal Nishant delivered a distinguished speech. Dr. D. Dr. K. Christie Jennifer, Academic Coordinator and Dr. S. Subramaniam,program Head, school of Commerce graced the occasion. Mrs. M poonguzhali District Transport Officer Komarapalayam and Mrs. K Suthakodi Government Primary Health Center Pallakkapalayam and Ms. P. Nilavathi,High Court Advocate Chennai participated as special guests to make women aware of how women can progress in their lives. They gave a special speech to educate the students about how they can defend themselves, how they can make themselves self- confident and progressive in the society, how women can prepare themselves for self- rights in education and government jobs.
They gave a special speech to make the students aware that they can prepare. Special guests honored the professors and students who achieved achievements in the current academic year as well as women’s day celebration in the grand manner. Apart from that, the students were made aware of how to use the government’s Kavalan application on their mobile phones, how to use the mobile phones and how to protect themselves from the risks involved. More than 800 students and 40 professors from Excel College for Commerce and Science benefited from this event. At the end Mrs. S Sakuntala, Assistant Professor of English Department gave the vote of thanks. ceremony ended happily with National Anthem
