DEPARTMENT OF MICROBIOLOGY has organized Skill Enhancement Programme on CONSTRUCTION OF MICROBIAL CONSORTIUM FOR ENVIRONMENTAL CLEANING on 18.09.2024 at Velappar  Hall. The event commenced with a prayer song. The welcome address delivered by Ms.P.Indhumathi II- B.Sc Microbiology. Dr.R.Vimal Nishant, Principal/ECCS gave the presidential address. Dr.K.Manjula, Programme Head, School of Arts and Science, felicitated the gathering. Then Visionary address delivered by Dr.T.Shankar, Chief IQAC, and Dr.D.Ramya, Head/Microbiology has delivered about highlight of the Department. Dr.E.S.Karthy, Director, Awecare private limited Erode. He delivered a technical session on constructing microbial consortia to break down pollutants and restore environmental balance. The vote of thanks was given by Mr.M.Hemesh, I–B.Sc Microbiology. The programme ended successfully with the National Anthem.
