Drug Prevention Awareness Rally on behalf of the Department of Business Administration at Excel College for Commerce and Science
On 13.03.2024, awareness rally against tobacco and narcotic substances was held by Excel College for Commerce and Science Department of Business Administration. As directed by Dr. Vimal Nishant, Principal, Excel College for Commerce and Science
Assistant Professor P. Thirupathi welcomed everyone at the opening ceremony of the rally. Mr.P.Varunkumar Head of Department of Business Administration, Excel College of Commerce and Science presided. Kumarapalayam Police Assistant Inspector Mr. Gangatharan and Kumarapalayam Government Doctor Mr. Arun attended the event as special invitees and started the rally by waving the flag. 2 km from Kumarapalayam Bus Standm up to Kumarapalayam near Anangur Division was completed. Chief Constable R.Selvaraj and First Level Constable K. Mahendran Kumarapalayam Police in the rally participated and provided protection to the students.In the rally, the students of Business Administration Department of Excel College of Commerce and Science advised them not to smoke tobacco and intoxicants and also informed the audience about drug prevention due to drug addictionThey held a rally through the main streets carrying banners to create awareness among the public about the evils and how to recover from drug addiction. More than 80 students participated in this rally on behalf of Department of Business Administration of Excel College of Commerce and Science. Also Dr. P. Karthi, Mr. D. Sugandaran and Ms. A. Santhiyaa Swanly, Assistant Professors of the Department of Business Administration were also present.
