Career Guidance Programme on Mastering Commerce
Department of Commerce organized a Career Guidance Programme on Mastering Commerce – Exploring Advanced Degrees and Specializations. The event was held at Velappar Hall A/C on 1st July 2024.
*Mr. C. Kesavan*, Assistant Professor in Commerce, presented the welcome address.Our principal,
*Dr. R. Vimal Nishant*, gave the presidential address.*Dr. K. Manjula, Programme Head, School of Arts and Science, felicitated the gathering.
*Dr.M. Chithravathi*, Head of the Department of B.Com CA & PA, introduced the chief guest, Dr. Shilpa Gopal, Assistant Professor Senior Scale, Department of Commerce, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal, Karnataka.
Dr. Shilpa Gopal delivered a very motivating speech on “Mastering Commerce – Exploring Advanced Degrees and Specializations,” emphasizing career development and the importance of setting goals.
She also encouraged the students to share their knowledge about career paths through activities and interaction. The vote of thanks was given by *Mr. K. Ramesh*, Assistant Professor/Department Coordinator/B.Com &AF. The programme ended successfully with the National Anthem.
