Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Technology (CLT)is a three-year full-time Under Graduate course offered by Periyar University, Salem.

The Department of Clinical Laboratory Technology, established in the year 2022 offers a premium education to the students with applied experience in the state of the art laboratories. The program was meticulously designed to offer specialization in science stream encompassing a strong knowledge in clinical laboratory techniques and an exposure to social disciplines. The curriculum facilitates the students to acquire diverse knowledge in the field of Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology, Immunology, and Molecular biology. The Department of Clinical Laboratory Technology caters to the quest for knowledge in clinical diagnostic technology, with latest application tools.

The goal of improving the employability and interdisciplinary skills with the students and to meet out the escalating demand for technologists in the part of healthiness and related industries.
