The Department of Textile and Fashion Designing (TFD) and Costume Design and Fashion (CDF) of Excel College for Commerce and Science, Komarapalayam, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Injex Knowledge LLP, Bengaluru, on 2nd July 2025 at 10:30 AM in the A8 Block Board Room. This strategic collaboration was intended to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry practice by providing students with opportunities for internships, industrial visits, workshops, and hands-on training. Injex Knowledge LLP, known for its expertise in fashion and textile education, agreed to serve as an industry partner to support student skill development and employability. The MOU was formally signed by Dr. R. Vimal Nishant, Principal of Excel College for Commerce and Science, and Mr. Sampath Kasirajan, Director of Injex Knowledge LLP, Bengaluru. The event was witnessed by Dr. T. Shankar, Chief IQAC, Dr. K. Manjula, Program Head of the School of Arts and Science, Dr. K. Christie Jennifer, Head of the Department of TFD & CDF, and Mr. M. Venkat Prasath, AP\TFD, MOU Coordinator, along with faculty members and student representatives from the TFD and CDF departments. This partnership marked a significant step in enhancing industry-academia collaboration and nurturing future-ready professionals in the textile and fashion domain, thereby enriching the educational experience and career opportunities for students.
