Excel  College for Commerce and Science, On January 11, 2025, the Department of English hosted a Professional Development Program for non-teaching staff members entitled as, “RECORD KEEPING AND FILLING SYSTEMS: A STEP BY STEP GUIDE” at A6-Computer Lab IV by 10:00 AM. The meeting was addressed by Mr. M. Suresh, Head, Department of English. The ceremony was felicitated by Dr. K. Manjula, Programme Head, School of Arts & Science. The Presidential remarks were made by Principal Dr. R. Vimal Nishant. Our resource person has been introduced by Mrs. T. Mohana, an assistant professor of English. Our guest speaker, Dr. M. Balasubramanian, Executive Officer, Excel Group institutions, covered the fundamentals of Organizing records systematically using logical categories and clear naming conventions. Regularly maintain, review, and update systems to ensure efficiency and compliance during the technical session. Thanks of the vote has been proposed by Mrs. S. Shakunthala, an Assistant professor of English. Almost 50 non-teaching staff members took part in and profited from this beneficial activity. The program enhances organizational efficiency by teaching systematic record-keeping and filing methods, ensuring easy access and compliance. It promotes accuracy, data security, and readiness for transitioning to digital systems.
