World Rose Day Seminar -22.09.2025

World Rose Day is observed every year on September 22nd to honor the life and legacy of Melinda Rose, a brave 12-year-old who battled terminal cancer with unwavering courage and positivity. Her story continues to inspire millions, reminding us of the strength and hope that can flourish even in the face of life’s greatest challenges.

Our Excel Siddha Medical College and Research Centre, celebrated World Rose Day on September 22, 2025, to spread awareness about cancer and extend emotional support to patients. The seminar, held in memory of Melinda Rose, highlighted the importance of compassion and positivity in healing.

This programme was conducted under the guidance of our respected College Principal Prof.Dr.M.Maignananoorthy, MD(S), Dr. A. Rajarajeswari MD (s)., Professor, Department of Aruvai Maruthuvam delivered an inspiring talk on “Empathy in Cancer Care.”
