RIEDC would promote the activities by conducting workshops, awareness programs, skill development programs, innovation competition, entrepreneurship development activities and support startups in the field of Siddha.

RIEDC will meet quarterly once formally to discuss the activities proposed, action taken during that period. It will also plan the research innovation and entrepreneurship for short term and midterm. It would facilitate the enthusiastic students and faculty to achieve aim in research innovation and entrepreneurship. RIEDC will collaborate with other organizations involved with research innovation and entrepreneurship and industries.

Principal of the College will be chairman of the RIEDC and members will be nominated on the behalf of their achievement and interest in the field of research. RIEDC will be for a period of  three years or further modification, whichever is earlier.
