The Siddha System of Medicine has its unique method of pharmaceutical science. Basically medicines are divided into internal medicine and external medicine which has 32 types in each respectively. There are certain techniques which will be used in our laboratory such as separation, purification, extraction, calcinations and cupellation, with adequate facilities. Our ultimate aim is to teach the students about medicine preparation, storage and provide hands-on training in dispensing them.
