About the Founder

SRET - Sri Rengaswamy Educational Trust is a Charitable Trust established in the year 2001 by its Founder Chairman Prof. Dr. A.K. Natesan with an aim to foster higher education to all and to provide excellent professional education in rural India to uplift the downtrodden communities through education. Initially, the Trust started Teacher-Training Institutions, and in 2007 it carved a niche for itself in professional education under the brand name of Excel Group Institutions at Pallakkapalayam, Namakkal District, Tamil Nadu. These illustrious institutions housed in magnificent buildings are located on a sprawling area of over 130 acres beside the National Highway (NH-544) between Salem and Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, India.

I Professional BSMS students (2023 -2029) were taken for Siddha Medicinal Plant Garden,Metturdam Visit on15.12.2023. A group of 65 members including 59 students & 6 staff members visited the garden. Induction Programme-Bsms Classes (2023-2024 Batch)
Excel Siddha Medical College and Research Centre inaugurated the First BSMS classes (2023-2024 Batch) on 30 November 2023 at Excel AYUSH Auditorium. Dr.M.Vivekanandhan,BSMS, Director-IMPCOPS (Salem.Dharmapuri,Namakkal, Krishnagiri Districts), participated as the Chief Guests of the Inaugural Function and addressed the gathering. Vice chairman of Excel group institutions honoured the chief guests.

About the Institution

Excel Siddha Medical College & Research Centre

Excel Siddha Medical College & Research Centre is situated on an eco-friendly hillock beside the Coimbatore – Salem Main Road, NH-544. It is located at Pallakkapalayam, Namakkal District, Tamil Nadu, about 9km from Bhavani, 20 km from Erode, 40 km from Salem, and 107 km from Coimbatore. The nearest Airport is Coimbatore and the nearest Railway Station is Erode Junction. Excel Siddha Medical College Hospital was established in August 2015 and Excel Siddha Medical College & Research Centre was established in October 2019. The college offers the 5½-year Bachelor’s Degree Course i.e., BSMS (Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery) which plays a unique role in Indian Medicine. The College is affiliated with The Tamilnadu Dr.MGR Medical University, Chennai, recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) and approved by the Ministry of AYUSH, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi.
