On the observance of World Environmental Health Day, Our Excel Siddha Research centre-NSS Unit conducted campus cleaning activity in our Nakshatra Garden on  28.09.2024.

Our respected principal, Prof.Dr.M.Maignanamoorthy MD (s)., initiated this campus cleaning program. The event aimed to promote environmental awareness, and contribute our part to the well-being of our ecosystem. Our first professional students took part in this event. They collected and disposed  litter, removed weeds, and pruned plants.

Teachers’ day celebration was organized by Excel Siddha Medical College & Research Centre Students on 09.09.2024.

The presidential address was delivered by our Principal, Prof.Dr.M.Maignana moorthy, MD (s).  Meritorious teachers were awarded for their outstanding contributions to previous university examination results. Outstanding performance from third-year university examinations; Meritorious Students received their prizes from our principal.

Students presented a colourful cultural program, including songs, dances, and poetic delivery.

On the Observance of WORLD MOSQUITO DAY 2024 Our Excel Siddha Medical College & Research Centre conducted a DENGUE AWARENESS RALLY on 29.08.2024.

Our Respected Principal Prof. Dr.M.Maignana Moorthy.,M.D(S) initiated to  conduct RALLY program to educate the community about dengue fever. This event was organized by ESMCRC in association with Rotary Club Komarapalayam from Rajam Theatre to Komarapalayam Bus Stand on 29.08.2024. Rtn.R.Shanmugam, President, Rotary Club Komarapalayam, RtnM.Gunaseelan, Secretary,Rotary Club Komarapalayam, Faculty Members & Students took part in this Rally.

This programme was organized by Science Club.

On the drug awareness day observance, our faculty members and all Students enthusiastically took a pledge against drug abuse and to promote a healthy, drug-free community on 12.08.2024. This program was commenced in the presence of our principal, Prof.Dr.M.Maignana Moorthy, MD (s).

KARGIL VIJAY DIWAS –  has been celebrated every year, to pay tribute to the bravery of Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country during the Kargil War of 1999.

This year in 2024, As per our university instruction, Our Excel Siddha Medical College & Research Centre Principal Prof.Dr.M.Maignana Moorthy., M.D(S), Faculty members & Students were celebrated the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas on 26.07.2024 .Our faculties and students participated in this program and know about the history of our nation, sacrifices and pride of our soldiers.

On the observance of World Environment Day, Our Excel Siddha Medical College & Research Centre conducted an awareness programme about the significance of maintaining plastic free green environment.

Our Principal Prof.Dr.M.Maignana Moorthy., M.D(S), initiated the programme by  extending our herbal garden by encouraging our students to plant more herbs. As per this year theme “Our Land Our Future We Are Generation  Restoration” our younger generation, students planted more saplings in our garden to expand the green covering.

National Doctor’s Day Celebration: Our Excel Siddha Medical College & Research Centre celebrated the National Doctor’s Day on 01.07.2024.

As per the guidance of our College Principal  Prof.Dr.M.Maignana Moorthy., M.D(S) Our Excel Siddha Medical College & Research Centre celebrated the National Doctor’s Day. Our faculties and students participated in this celebration. Motivational talks were given by Principal and faculty members for the future Doctors.

INDUSTRIAL VISIT JSS COLLEGE OF PHARMACY OOTY: Our Excel Siddha Medical College & Research centre – A one day Industrial visit was made to  JSS College Of Pharmacy Ooty – which was organized for Final professional students on 28.06.2024.The participants were 60 students and 4 faculties from Research club.         

In this visit Our Students explored their knowledge by visiting various departments .They are the Department of Pharmaceutics, Department of Pharmacy Practice, Department Of Pharmacognosy, Department of Pharmacology, Animal House, Department Of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Department Of Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY- Our Excel Siddha Medical College & Research centre celebrated International Yoga day celebration on 21.06.2024.

In the presence of our College Principal Prof.Dr.M.Maignana Moorthy., M.D(S),The International Yoga Day in the theme of  “Yoga For Self And Society” was conducted as a yoga session by  Dr.S.Parveen Kousar., BNYS, MS., Associate Professor, Excel College For Naturopathy And Yoga .Our Faculties and our Students participated to maintain their good  health abnd felt themselves refreshing and energetic.

WORLD SICKLE CELL AWARENESS DAY SEMINAR: Our Excel Siddha Medical College & Research centre conducted World Sickle Cell Awareness Day Seminar On 19.06.2024.

Sickle Cell Anemia as we all know is an inherited blood disorder that affects the normal structure and functions of  red blood cells. World Sickle Cell Day provides an opportunity to educate people about the disease, symptoms, complications and the importance of genetic counselling and testing.

Our college  conducted the seminar on the World Sickle Cell Day under the guidance of  our Principal Prof.Dr.M.Maignana Moorthy., M.D(S), Dr.P.Govindammal, MD(S)., Assistant Professor delivered a lecture on this seminar, thereby encouraging the students to do  researches in this field in improving diagnosis,investigation techniques and line of  management of SCD.

WORLD BRAIN TUMOUR DAY 2024- – Our Excel Siddha Medical College & Research Centre conducted an awareness seminar on observance of         World Brain Tumour Day – 2024 on 18.06.2024

World Brain Tumour is observed every June 8 to raise awareness about the deadly disease and their impact on patients and families.

An awareness Seminar was conducted on the topic of  Brain Tumour. Dr.R.Kalpana.,M.D(S)., Assistant Professor delivered a detailed lecture on this topic regarding the care to be taken to maintain good  brain health and to eliminate possible risk factors that can greatly contribute in avoiding the risk of the disease.

WORLD HYPERTENSION DAY 2024: On the observance of  World Hypertension Day, Our Excel Siddha Medical College & Research centre conducted  Awareness programs from 17.05.2024 to 16.06.2024.

Our College Principal Prof.Dr.M.Maignana Moorthy., M.D(S), initiated, special medical camps in nearby 4 villages on 03.06.2024,05.06.2024, 07.06.2024 & 10.06.2024 and a overall of 1000 patients actively participated in the camps and underwent free BP monitoring and councelling to control Hypertension.

In presence of our college Principal, a pledge was taken by our college faculties and students  to create awareness about hypertension management. We also collected the  health details of our faculties and submitted the google form to The TamilNadu Dr.M.G.R.Medical University on 12.06.2024.

On the observance of World Hypertension day, our Excel Siddha Medical College & Research Centre Principal, Faculties & Students took pledge on 13.06.2024  regarding prevention from Hypertension of Individual, Family & Society through regular monitoring of Hypertension, Regular exercises & Yoga, Balanced diet and Healthy Lifestyle.

World Malaria Day -“Accelerate the fight against malaria for a more equitable world”– To create awareness about the prevention and management of Malaria on the world malaria day (25.04.2024), Under the guidance of our College Principal Prof.Dr.M.Maignana Moorthy., M.D(S)., our Excel Siddha Medical College and Research Centre, Green Club conducted campus cleaning program on 25.04.2024 maintain the clean and neat environment in our campus.

Our Green Club co-coordinator Dr.P.Sumathi organised our students to clean our campus. Our students eagerly participated to fight against malaria and gain more knowledge about the vector born disease.  First year bsms junior students participated  in this program.

To create more knowledge about Haemophilia – a rare bleeding disorder, Under the guidance of our College Principal Prof.Dr.M.Maignana Moorthy., M.D(S)., our Excel Siddha Medical College and Research Centre, conducted “The Imaginarium Build” charts and models competition on World Haemophilia Day (17.04.2024) for 1^st profession BSMS senior and junior students.

Our College Principal inaugurates the competition and encourages our students’ creativity and presentations.

First Profession BSMS Senior and Junior students presented their charts and models on the topic Of  “Equitable Access For All: Recognizing All Bleeding Disorders”

I Professional BSMS students (2023 -2029) were taken for Metturdam Visit on15.12.2023.A group of 65 members including 59 students & 6 staff members visited the garden with support of college transport services. Later we visited metturdam Ellis park on the same day. The students enjoyed their day with delicious lunch arranged and also had good exposure to medicinal importance of plants.

I Professional BSMS students (2023 -2029) were taken for Siddha Medicinal Plant Garden,Metturdam Visit on15.12.2023. A group of 65 members including 59 students & 6 staff members visited the garden. The research officers gave instructions to students on the maintenance, development of herbal garden and cultivation of medicinal plants. The details of green houses and arboretum details were also given by the Researchers. The cultivated medicinal plants in the garden are supplied to CCRS institutes for drug standardization, clinical trial. The medicinal plants are also examined for the authenticity of their botanical sources.

Excel Siddha Medical College and Research Centre inaugurated the First BSMS classes (2023-2024 Batch) on 30 November 2023 at Excel AYUSH Auditorium. Dr.M.Vivekanandhan,BSMS, Director-IMPCOPS (Salem.Dharmapuri,Namakkal, Krishnagiri Districts), participated as the Chief Guests of the Inaugural Function and addressed the gathering. Vice chairman of Excel group institutions honoured the chief guests. Principal, Teaching Faculties, Students & Parents participated in this programme.

Our Excel Siddha Medical college & Research centre celebrated Annual day functions from 24.11.2023 to 25.11.2023.

Our Excel Siddha Medical College And Research Centre Planted  ‘27 Natchathra plants’ as a part of our Herbal Garden expansion on 18.10.2023 Wednesday.

Our college Principal, Staff members, Students along with EHMC & EMCNY Principals and Staff members participated in this event.

As per the guidance of Tamilnadu Informaion Commission, Govt of Tamilnadu, and instruction from The Registrar, TNMMU, We have conducted Awareness programme for RTI awareness, Walkathon awareness programme on   12.10.2023 From Excel Siddha Medical College & Research Centre  To Pallakapalayam , Namakkal District. Our College Staffs and Students were participate this Walkathon Rally.

There are 100 students and 35 staffs were actively participated in the Walkathon Rally.

As per Govt of India instruction, Our Excel Siddha Medical College & Research Centre celebrate the SWACHHATA PAKHWADA-SWACHHATA HI SEVA (SHS) 2023 on 01.10.2023. Our College Staffs and Students were participate the massive cleanlines drive.

There are 100 students and 35 staffs were actively participated in the SWACHHATA PAKHWADA-SWACHHATA HI SEVA (SHS) 2023.

As a part of “Drug free Tamilnadu” initiative, our Excel Siddha Medical College and research centre students & faculties took Anti drug pledge on 11.08.2023 at our college premises.

Excel Siddha Medical College and Research Centre celebrated  National Doctor’s day on July 1st 2023. All faculties and students celebrated the event in our college. Cultural events were performed by Students.

Our EXCEL SIDDHA MEDICAL COLLEGE AND RESEARCH CENTRE  celebrated “9th International day of yoga (IDY)” at Medical campus Auditorium, on 21st June 2023 . All the students and faculties participated in the event.

Our Excel Siddha Medical college & Research centre students and staffs faculties were participated in two days National conference on Siddha Medicine on 15.12.2022 & 16.12.2022 at TheTamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, Guindy Chennai.

FRESHER’S DAY (NOVATO FIESTA 22)- Our Excel Siddha Medical college students celebrated the Fresher’s day for 2021-2022-batch on 16.09.2022 at Excel Mini Auditorium.

HAR GHAR TIRANGA – In the 75th year of India’s Independence, our Excel Siddha Medical College and Research centre celebrated as three days (13.08.2022-15.08.2022) events.

HAR GHAR TIRANGA – Day 1:

National flag was hoisted by our honourable Technical Director.

Poster Exhibition:-Patriotic posters were exhibited in exhibition, which were drawn by our Students.

Speech competition, Cultural events, Skit programmes and Traditional games like Silambam were conducted by our Students.

HAR GHAR TIRANGA Day 2:

Rally was conducted in Komarapalyam Town. Inaugurated by Deputy Superintendent of Police, Tiruchengode and Head master, Govt boys higher secondary school, Komarapalayam. The rally started at EB Office and completed at Komarapalayam bus stand.

In the Rally our students dressed up as our national leaders and conducted the patriotic dramas at important junctions.

HAR GHAR TIRANGA- Day 3:

A Tricolour Marathon was conducted. It started from Medical campus-Ranganoor road 2nd Main gate – Main Entrance and ended up in Medical Campus, our honourable Director of Excel Public School,

Prof.Mrs.Kaviarasi, inaugurated the Marathon by waving the flag and our three batch students participated in the Marathon.

Prizes were distributed to the winners of Marathon, Speech & Singing competitions, Culturals, Skit.Prizes were distributed by Prof.Mrs. Kaviarasi, The Director of Excel Public School.
