World Autism Awareness Day – Seminar

Excel Siddha Medical College and Research Centre organized a seminar on World Autism Awareness Day on 02.04.2026 at the First Professional Year Classroom under the guidance of the respected Principal Prof. Dr. M. Maignanamoorthy.

The seminar was delivered by Dr. D. S. Vaniswari, M.D. (S), Associate Professor, Department of Udal Thathuvam. The programme focused on the theme “Autism and Humanity – Every Life Has Value”, emphasizing the dignity, rights, inclusion, and support for autistic individuals in education, healthcare, and society.

First Professional students and Faculties attended the seminar.

The programme was organized by the Science Club and created valuable awareness about autism, neurodiversity, and the importance of inclusive environments.
