World Malaria Day – Campus Cleaning Drive on 25.04.2026

On the occasion of World Malaria Day, Excel Siddha Medical College and Research Centre organized a Campus Cleaning Drive on 25.04.2026 to create awareness about malaria prevention and promote a clean and healthy environment.

The programme began with an awareness session conducted by faculty members, emphasizing the causes, symptoms, prevention, and control of malaria. Students and staff actively participated in the cleaning activities carried out across the campus.

The major activities included removal of stagnant water from drains and containers, cleaning of gardens and common areas, proper disposal of waste materials, and spreading awareness through slogans on hygiene and mosquito control.

The initiative successfully encouraged environmental cleanliness and highlighted the importance of preventing mosquito breeding to reduce the spread of malaria.
