CME Programme on “Scientific Approach in Siddha Medicine” Organized by Excel Siddha Medical College & Research Centre – 19th July 2025

On 19th July 2025, Excel Siddha Medical College & Research Centre successfully organized a CME Programme on the theme “Scientific Approach in Siddha Medicine” at the AYUSH Auditorium.

The event was conducted under the guidance of Prof.Dr.M.Maignanamoorthy,M.D(S), Principal of Excel Siddha Medical College & Research Centre. The CME aimed to provide valuable insight into scientific research practices, publication ethics, and clinical applications within the field of Siddha medicine.

The programme featured the following expert presentations:

Dr. Reshma Ayswaria, Ph.D, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, Mercy College, Palakkad, Kerala, delivered an insightful session on “Grant Proposal Writing and Key Points of Success”, emphasizing the structure, strategies, and essentials of writing successful research proposals.

Dr. P. Vanathi, Ph.D, Principal, Bharathidasan College of Arts & Science (Autonomous), Erode, presented on “Writing and Publishing Scientific Articles in Indian System of Medicine”, highlighting the ethical considerations, publishing standards, and techniques for effective academic communication.

Dr. P.K. Ramesh, M.D(S), Associate Professor, Excel Siddha Medical College & Research Centre, Komarapalayam, shared his clinical expertise through a session on “Varmam for Musculoskeletal System”, focusing on therapeutic applications, mechanism, and Siddha principles involved in Varmam practice.
