The Department of Sool Magalir Maruthuvam deals with the subjects regarding Obstetrics and Gynaecology. It deals with the female diseases like infertility, amenorrhoea, dysmenorrhoea, menorrhagia, fibroid uterus, anaemia and also antenatal care. Syllabus of this subject comprises both traditional Siddha system and recent advances in Modern Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

As per CCIM norms all the facilities have been set in place. Our concerned department staff members are working in the respective departments of the hospital as consultants.
