Department of Mechanical Engineering
About Department
The Department of Mechanical Engineering, with an intake of 150 students, has been a cornerstone of our institution since 2008, providing students with strong technical knowledge and practical exposure. Our well-equipped laboratories—including Engineering, CAD/CAM, Fluid Thermal Mechanics, Manufacturing Technology, and Metrology—ensure that students gain hands-on experience in both fundamental and advanced concepts. To bridge the gap between academia and industry, the department actively organizes seminars, workshops, and industrial visits. Students are encouraged to pursue innovative projects in areas such as automation, renewable energy, robotics, and smart manufacturing. This semester, the department has focused on: Conducting guest lectures by industry experts. Organizing skill development training on CAD/CAM software. Facilitating industrial internships for final-year students. Promoting research and mini-projects aligned with real- world challenges. With a dedicated team of faculty and enthusiastic students, the Mechanical Engineering Department continues its journey toward excellence, innovation, and strong industry collaboration.
