Excel College of Pharmacy celebrated World Youth Skills Day 2026 on 15th July 2026 under the theme “Skills for a Shared Future.”The programme emphasized the importance of developing technical, professional, entrepreneurial, digital, and life skills among young people.
It aimed to enhance students’ communication, leadership, critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. The event was attended by 105 students of II Semester B.Pharm.The programme provided a platform for students to express innovative ideas and showcase their talents. An informative awareness session on NPTEL (National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning) was conducted by Mr. S. Gowthamraj, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacognosy. The session highlighted the role of NPTEL courses in improving academic knowledge, professional skills, employability, and career opportunities. Students were encouraged to utilize online learning platforms for continuous learning and skill development. The programme successfully inspired students to become skilled, confident, innovative, and future-ready pharmacy professionals.
