QUIT INDIA MOVEMENT DAY PROGRAMME 2026
Excel College of Pharmacy organized a Quit India Movement Day Programme on 08.08.2026 at the Excel Mini Auditorium (A/C) to commemorate the historic Quit India Movement launched on 08 August 1942. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about India’s freedom struggle and to remember the courage, sacrifice, and determination of the freedom fighters who contributed to the nation’s independence. The programme featured an Awareness Talk on the Quit India Movement, through which students gained insights into the historical background, significance, and impact of the movement. Student
speeches highlighted the contributions of national leaders and freedom fighters while emphasizing the values of patriotism, unity, and national responsibility. A poster display was organized to creatively present important events, personalities, and messages associated with India’s freedom struggle. The Freedom Pledge encouraged students to reaffirm their commitment to unity, integrity, patriotism, and responsible citizenship. The programme also included a Patriotic Cultural Programme, providing students with an opportunity to express their respect and love for the nation through cultural performances. A total of 100 students participated in the programme, along with faculty members, making the event an engaging and meaningful learning experience. The programme concluded successfully with a renewed commitment to remembering the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and upholding the values of freedom, unity, and responsible citizenship.
