80th INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION 2026

Excel College of Pharmacy celebrated the 80th Independence Day on 15.08.2026 with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm. The celebration was graced by Dr. A.K. Natesan, Chairman, Excel Group Institutions; Dr. N. Mathan Karthick, Vice Chairman; and Dr. R. Manivannan, Principal, Excel College of Pharmacy. The programme commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony, symbolizing national pride and unity. This was followed by an energetic student parade showcasing discipline and team spirit. Students actively participated in various patriotic activities throughout the celebration. A vibrant series of cultural

performances added colour and enthusiasm to the occasion. Patriotic songs and dance performances reflected the students’ love for the nation. The NCC students enhanced the celebration through impressive stunts and demonstrations. Their performances showcased courage, discipline, confidence, and coordination. Various entertaining activities further added joy and excitement to the event. The celebration witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members. The programme promoted the values of patriotism, unity, discipline, and national responsibility. It provided an opportunity for students to reflect on the significance of India’s freedom. The celebration concluded successfully on a memorable note with renewed national pride and commitment towards the progress and prosperity of the nation.
