WORLD NATURE CONSERVATION DAY 2026

Excel College of Pharmacy observed World Nature Conservation Day 2026 on 28 July 2026 under the theme “Protect Nature, Preserve Life.” The programme aimed to create awareness about environmental protection and promote sustainable practices among students and staff.Dr. R. Manivannan, Principal, delivered the presidential address, emphasizing the importance of conserving natural resources and adopting eco-friendly habits. An On-Campus Nature Awareness Rally was conducted to promote environmental responsibility.The Guest Lecture was delivered by Dr. P. Saravanakumar, Professor and Head, Department of Civil Engineering, Excel Engineering College, who highlighted sustainable development and collective responsibility towards nature.A Tree Sapling Plantation Programme was inaugurated by the chief guest, followed by the active participation of faculty members and students. The programme inspired everyone to contribute towards a greener, healthier, and sustainable future.
