On 30th August 2024, the Department of Computer Science at Excel College for Commerce and Science, Cybernauts Association, hosted an Alumni Talk titled “Risk Management Strategies for Business Advisors.”*

The event took place in the A8 Computer Lab-I and was attended by 91 final-year students. The program began at 10:00 a.m. with a warm welcome address by *Dr. K. Munusamy, HoD, who emphasized the importance of understanding risk management in today’s business environment.

The Principal, Dr. R. Vimal Nishant delivered a felicitation address*, encouraging students to apply the strategies discussed in their future careers.*Ms. Mounisha, a student from III B.Sc Computer Science,* introduced the guest speaker, Ms. M. Villveshwari, a Business Advisor from Accenture, Chennai.

In her technical session, Ms. Villveshwari* discussed key points on risk management strategies, covering both interview strategies and insights into technical and non-technical IT jobs. Her talk provided valuable advice for students preparing to enter the job market. The event concluded with a *vote of thanks by Mrs. N. Sudha, who expressed gratitude to the guest speaker, faculty, and students for their participation.

The session was highly beneficial, offering practical knowledge that will assist students in their career development.
