National Level Seminar on Emerging Trends in Business and Innovation: 5.0
The School of Commerce at Excel College for Commerce and Science successfully organized a National Level Seminar on January 8, 2024. The event commenced with the traditional Tamil Thai Vazhthu, followed by a warm welcome address by Dr. S. Subramaniam, Programme Head, School of Commerce. The Principal, Dr. R. Vimal Nishant, delivered the presidential address, emphasizing the importance of innovation and emerging business trends. Dr. M. Chitravathi elaborated on the seminar’s aim, and Dr. M. Chitra introduced the distinguished chief guest, setting the stage for academic discourse.
In Session 1, Dr. A. Narasima Venkatesh delivered an enlightening lecture on “Emerging Trends in Business and Innovation: 5.0,” focusing on technological advancements, sustainability, and evolving consumer behaviours. His insights deeply engaged the audience of students, faculty, and professionals.
Session 2 began with a welcome address by Mr. P. Varunkumar and an introduction of the chief guest by Mr. K. Ramesh. Dr. Devi Premnath captivated the audience with her talk on the significance of emerging trends for students, aligning academic pursuits with industry needs.
The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. P. Boopathi Maharaja, expressing gratitude to all contributors, followed by the National Anthem. The event was a resounding success, providing invaluable insights into contemporary business innovations.
