On 12th February to 19th February, 2025, Excel College for Commerce and Science, The Department of English hosted a One-Week National Level Virtual Faculty Development Program on “Enhancing English Language Teaching through Innovation, Skill Development, and Reflective Practices”.
Dr. K. Manjula, Program Head, School of Arts and Science, has given a heartfelt welcoming speech to kick off the program. Dr. R.Vimal Nishant, Principal has presented

Day 1: Dr. S. Selvalakshmi, has shared “To Equipping teachers with classroom management techniques and well-being tactics for a well-rounded, productive teaching experience.”
Day 2: Dr. Amala Arokia Raj, has discussed “To Examining contemporary ELT strategies to improve learner engagement and the efficacy of language instruction.”
Day 3: Dr. S. Boopathi, has talked over “ToEnhancing ELT through effective assessment and evaluation for meaningful learning outcomes.”
Day 4: Dr. B. Padmanabhan, has coined “To Integrating literature and culture in ELT to enrich language learning and foster global understanding.”
Day 5:Dr. Mohamed Umar Farooq, has delivered “To Fostering growth through professional development and collaboration for impactful and innovative practices.”
Day 6: Dr. Pradyumansinh Raj, has explained “To Transforming the language learning with innovative ELT techniques for engagement and effectiveness.”
Day 7: Dr. A. Nanthakumar, has shared “To Enhancing language skills through effective strategies for communication, comprehension, and fluency.” Mr. S. Srinivasan, Assistant Professor of English, has offered the vote of gratitude. Around, 200 faculty members’ skills and knowledge in the area of English language instruction were enhanced by this worthwhile program.
