The Department of Commerce at Excel College for Commerce and Science organized an industrial visit for the I-B.Com students to the Sugar Factory at Appakudal on 08/01/2025 at 10:30 AM. The primary objective was to provide students with practical insights into the sugar manufacturing process. The highlight of the visit was a hands-on session where students observed and learned about the intricate steps involved in sugar production, offering valuable exposure to real-world industrial operations. The program was convened by Mr. K. Ramesh, Department Coordinator of Commerce, with seamless coordination by Assistant Professors Mr. C. Kesavan, Mrs. U. Gopiga, and Ms. K. Deepthi. Their efforts ensured the visit was both educational and enjoyable. The visit concluded successfully, enriching students’ practical knowledge and fostering their academic and professional growth.
