The Department of Textile and Fashion Designing (TFD) and Costume Design and Fashion (CDF) at Excel College for Commerce and Science organized “Trifest 2024” on September 4th at Velappar Hall. This vibrant event celebrated the F3 Association Inauguration, Fresher’s Day, and Friendship Day. The program began with a prayer song and ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a welcome address from Dr. K. Christie Jennifer, Head of the Department. Dr. R. Vimal Nishant, Principal of Excel College, inaugurated the F³ Association by crowning the newly elected members, who then took an oath of commitment. Dr. K. The Fresher’s Day segment saw new students warmly welcomed with crowns, gifts, and heartfelt celebrations. The day concluded with Friendship Day festivities, where students cut a cake and tied friendship bands, symbolizing unity and camaraderie. Mr. E. Dinesh, Assistant Professor of Tamil, delivered the vote of thanks, acknowledging everyone’s efforts. The event concluded with the national anthem, leaving a lasting impression on all participants. Trifest 2024 celebrated community, new beginnings, and strong friendships among students.
