Department of Commerce, Excel College for Commerce and Science successfully organized a One-Day Workshop on “E-Filing of GST” on 27^th February 2025 at CS Lab-III. The event commenced with Tamil Thai Vazhthu, followed by a warm welcome address delivered by Ms. S. Keerthika, Assistant Professor of Commerce. Dr. R. Vimal Nishant, Principal, delivered the presidential address, emphasizing the significance of GST and its relevance in today’s financial landscape. Following this, Dr. T. Shankar, Chief-IQAC, and Dr. S. Subramaniam, Programme Head, School of Commerce, felicitated the gathering with their encouraging words. Ms. K. Suganya, Assistant Professor of English, introduced the esteemed chief guest, Mr. V. Jayaprakash, a Chartered Accountant from V. Jayaprakash & Associates, Salem. He delivered an insightful and inspiring session on GST E-Filing, providing students with valuable knowledge about its processes, compliance, and digital applications. His session was highly engaging, equipping students with a deeper understanding of GST and its practical significance in commerce. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. P. Boopathimaharaja, Assistant Professor of Commerce, followed by the National Anthem. The workshop was a resounding success, leaving students motivated and well-informed about the evolving landscape of GST and its practical implications in the field of commerce.
