The Departments of Textile and Fashion Designing (TFD) and Costume Design and Fashion (CDF) at Excel College for Commerce and Science proudly organized a 15-day Beauty Course Certification Program under the PMKVY SANKALP PROJECT, in partnership with the National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD).

Program Highlights:

• Welcome Address: Dr. K. Christie Jennifer, Head of TFD & CDF, opened the program by highlighting the course’s impact on enhancing practical skills and employability in the beauty and wellness sector.
• Presidential Address: Dr. R. Vimal Nishant, Principal of Excel College, underscored the importance of skill development initiatives like PMKVY in fostering entrepreneurship and empowering students.
• Chief Guest: Mrs. R. Chandra, Founder of Chandra’s Beauty Clinic and a certified PMKVY trainer, provided an insightful overview of the course, including its structure, objectives, and outcomes. Her session featured practical demonstrations, giving students a hands-on experience with professional beauty care techniques.
