• Prof. Dr.A.K.Natesan is the Founder & Honorary Chairman of Excel Group Institutions, Komarapalayam & The Kavery Educational Institutions, Salem.
• He was the District Governor of Rotary International District-2982 for the year 2019-20.
• Rtn. AKS. Prof. Dr. A.K. Natesan, Rotary District Governor & First AKS Member of Rotary District 2982, is a visionary Higher Education administrator & Leader in Education.
• He is the Founder and Secretary of the “Association of Management of Coimbatore Anna University Affiliated Colleges” (AMCAUAC) – Consortium of Engineering Colleges of Kongu Region.
• Presently, he is serving as Syndicate Member of Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University.
• Now, he is serving as the President of Tamil Nadu Ball Badminton Association (TNBBA)
• Now he holds the position of Vice Chairman of Ball Badminton Federation of India – BBFI.

• Dr.A.K.Natesan did his Doctorate – Ph.D. in Financial Management from Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore.
• He did his 2 PG Course MBA at NIT, Trichy (erstwhile it was called as REC- Regional Engineering College.)
• He did his diplomas in Labour Law & System Analysis in Annamalai University
• He did his under graduation at PSG Arts & Science College and irst PG at Sri Vasavi College, Erode.
• He has over 40 years of Experience in Higher Education as Administrator, Professor and Executive Leader.

• He started his career in corporate life and changes his career as Associate Professor, served for
  33 years in the Department of Management.

Natesan, as Founder & Chairman, promoted Engineering colleges, Business School, Architecture, Polytechnic Colleges, B.Ed. / M.Ed Colleges, Naturopathy & Yoga Medical College, Homoeopathy Medical College, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy Colleges, Allied Health Science colleges and Excel Public School with over 12000 Students Pursuing Education. 14 Excel and 6000 students in The Kavery Institutions.
• He also promoted few corporate Companies in the ields of Energy & Agriculture.
• Presently Dr. AKN Family Manages 23 Institutions under the name of Excel & The Kavery.
• Excel Group Institutions spreading 130-acres, eco-friendly campus at Komarapalayam & The Kavery Educational Institutions extended over 32 acres campus at Salem with over 6000 Students on roll. His Institutions employs over 1400 Plus Teaching and Non-Teaching staff for providing better quality Education in this two Campuses.

• Dr. A.K. Natesan has been Awarded Numerous Meritorious Awards by Various forums and conferred many Titles by several Social Organization, Institutions and Professional Bodies. The Government of Tamil Nadu twice conferred him the Title of the State’s Best NSS Programme Officer & Kalingarayan Award for Selfless Service to Society by Kongu Trust, Chennai.

• Dr. A.K.Natesan as member of Rotary Club of Komarapalayam, served in the different roles as Club President, Assistant Governor, District Chairman, District Literacy Chairman and District Governor for the year for 2019-20 for RI District-2982, District Trainer in the year 2022-23 and ARRFC in 2023-24.

• Dr. A.K. Natesan has traveled across the world and visited many Universities in the USA, Canada, Argentina, UK, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, UAE, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Macau, etc. The Entire Family of Dr. A.K. Natesan are Paul Harris Family (PHF) Awardees and  contributed over USD 3.10 Lakh Dollars.
• He has attended Rotary Conventions at Atlanta, USA & Toronto Convention at Canada

• Managing Komarapalayam Rotary Crematorium Trust and Komarapalayam Rotary Trust for the part 10/20 years as chairman of the both Trusts.
• He and his partner Parvathy has become the first AKS member of the District on the day one of his Governorship and still he is the only AKS member of the Rotary District.
• Started 3 New Rotary Clubs @ Hosur & Salem, among this 2 clubs are exclusive women’s club.
• Collected 45 lakhs US Dollars to the The Rotary Foundation (TRF) as Donation including creation of four Endowment Funds & an AKS membership.
• Successfully conducted Mazhilmathi – District Conference in Excel campus with over 3000 participants and created benchmarks in the Rotary District.
• Executed 9 global Grants to the tune of 5.50 lakhs US Dollars and distributed COVID’19 Relief Meterials, Medical Equipments & wash stations to many Government hospitals, Public places. Also he has established 3 Dialysis centers in Komarapalayam, Namakkal & Hosur.
• He coordinated with PDG. Dr. Sagadevan & PDG. SivaShankar of District – 3203 to raise Rs.1 Crore Donation for The Erode Covid Trust Hospital @ Government Perundurai Medical College Campus.

• As a Trainer, imparted all the Trainings using novel methods and made the year 2022-23 Governor Period a Successful Year.
• Continuously implementing Rotary’s ‘PROJECT BLUE’ by providing Furnitures to Government Schools in District – 2982 & in 3203 – Erode District from his Trusts along with Rotary District and Project BLUE-BASICS of LEARNING with UNIFORM Education Facilities till date.
• Celebrating Founders’ day with Educational scholarship to the tune of 3 crores per year for the last 10 years, So for more than 9000 students got benefited in SRET Excel Scholarships and around 25 crores worth of educational scholarship was donated to their students. He has attended Rotary International Conventions at Atlanta, USA & Toronto Convention at Canada as Komarapalayam Rotary Member.

• As ISTE – Indian Society for Technical Education Tamil Nadu Chapter Chairman Elected as unanimously to serve from 2010-17 (Two Terms).
• Got – Indias’ Best Chapter award for TN state consecutively for 5 years and obtained extra ordinary Distinction rating among Indian ISTE Chapters.
• Increased life membership from 18000 to 30000 / and increased the EC members from 12 to 18.
• Increased ISTE student membership in Tamil Nadu State from 10 Lakh to 3 Lakh members.
• Organised 5 separate state level ISTE state level Conventions exclusively for – separate conventions in Engineering, Polytechnic faculty students conventions and for Engineering & Polytechnic and stand alone MBA, MCA, Arch & Pharmacy colleges. He organized students conventions separately.
• Taken steps to recover the ISTE professional center building at Anna University from the illegal occupants & still supporting the Anna University to recover the building for the faculties and staff usage
• Taken many steps to improve the participation of students & faculties to improve the quality of Technical Education in this state.
• Also taken steps along with various organizations to parent students of Engineering to write examinations in their Mother Tongue – Tamil Language 2012 – Sengunthar Engineering College in Convention
• Created 20 lakhs Endowment for ISTE Tamil Nadu Chapter during his tenure as chairman of ISTE Tamil Nadu chapter and handed over to the present chairman during change over ceremony.
• Recognized many veteran Technical Education Teachers with LTA – Life time achievement award& recognized their contribution to Education growth

• Represented many innovative ideas to modernise the curriculum of Engineering & Management to introduced five years MBA program for the first time in the Tamil Nadu state under Anna University with AICTE Permission.

• As syndicate member of TNTE University participating & suggesting better ways of managing the university with more transparency in university administration to serve better to feed the students and affiliated colleges of the University to improve university image in public.

• As Founder secretary of AMCAUAC represented many matters with AICTE, UGC, Anna University, DOTE, NCTE, NBA and offer regulating bodies to streamline the Indian Education for Quality upgradation and brought in many changes in norms of Technical Education through AICTE, UGC & Anna University.
• Represented many times in fee fixing regulatory meetings and admission regulatory meetings with judge committees & Contributed for the betterment of college managements.
• Got many reliefs through representations with State and Central governments, for the benefit of students community & for the management of Institutions on Various Matters.

• As Formed many village roads & familiarized the needs of basic health & sanitations among villagers.
• Conducted many skill training for less educated villagers and converted them as entrepreneurs from 1989 to 2004, which made him more familiar among villagers of this region.
• Conducted many Leadership Awareness programs and initiated many Medical Camps in needy areas.

• As a freelancing consultant, advised to many Educational institutions and Trusts’ to strengthen their activities by starting new programs, colleges and campuses.

• Conducted Educational Expo cum guidance for more than 10 lakh students from the year 2003 to 2018 under the Logo of SRET – Excel EDGE along with Excel Foundation, TRUMSET, TRUES DOWAY TRUSTS, this paved the way for promotion of his theme “DREAM BIG HIGHER EDUCATION FOR ALL”

விவசாயம் & மழை நீர் சேகரிப்பில் Dr. AKN

• Culvativing Coconut plantations, Arecanut plantations, Teak plantations, Tapiaco, Sugarcane Mango and Amla farms in various farms in Tiruchengode, Komarapalayam, sankagiri, pugalur, Bhavani Taluks in over 200 acres fields.
• using innovative methods of Agriculture & Irrigation, Reusage of waste water…
• Created 5 Mega Ponds and collecting rain water from roof top areas and in open areas in Excel Campus, Authurampalayam and muthur. Rain Water Harvest ponds in Excel Campus to collect rain water and to recharge the open wells in over 500 acres, which is one of a creative idea and infrastructure to sustainable water usage in rocky & dry areas.
• Many VIPs visited the rain water harvest infrastructure at the Excel campus and copied this to implement in their area and they appreciated the mega project’s successes.
• He is a strong supporter of usage of Green energy solar & wind power & reusage of one side paper for internal administration.
