Eligibility and Academic Qualifications

B.E. / B.Tech. Degree (Four years): Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination, i.e., (10+2) of Indian System or its equivalent (having completed 12 years of school education). Candidates must have studied in English medium or have proficiency in English language and obtained a pass in the qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for admission to all programmes.
For MBA, a pass in any degree with the knowledge of English
For B.Arch. Degree (Five years): Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination, i.e. (10+2) of Indian System or its equivalent (completed 12 years of school education). Candidates must have studied via English Medium or have proficiency in English language and obtained a pass in the qualifying examination with a minimum of 50 % marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
APass in NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) is essential.

Foreign Nationals Admission @ Excel Group Institutions: A Step by Step Procedure

Submission of your +2 / Higher Secondary / ‘A’ Level certificates’ softcopies to excelforeignadmission@gmail.com to check your eligibility. You will receive provisional admission letter if you’re found eligible.
The Provisional Admission Letter can be used to obtain valid student visa issued by Indian Embassy / High Commission / Missions abroad.
On approval of Visa from the authorities, your travel plan shall be confirmed and flight ticket shall be booked to the nearest airport Bangalore / Coimbatore / Chennai. You are requested to confirm the date of your landing so that you can be guided to reach college without any hitch.
On arrival at the college you are requested to report to the Foreign National’s Cell for the admission formalities with the submission of your original certificates and payment of fees.
Equivalence Certificate from Chief Education Officer, Tamilnadu, India*, is to be obtained upon the verification of original certificates.
Application for Provisional Eligibility Certificate (PEC)* from Anna University, Chennai, India, is to be made and PEC to be obtained by paying Indian Rupees (INR) 5000/- (Five Thousand only)
The student has to get Stay Visa / Residential Permit from FRRO (Foreigner Regional Registration Office) within fifteen days of arrival in India and the Residential Permit has to be renewed periodically at District Superintendent of Police’s Office with the help of our Foreign Admission Cell.
Eligibility to join Excel Group Institutions after ‘A Level’ for BE / BTech Courses is a pass in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks.
Eligibility to join Excel Group Institutions after ‘O Level’ for Diploma / Polytechnic Courses is a pass in English and Mathematics as mandatory subjects with a minimum mark of 35% in each subject.
The following documents are required when you approach the college office for your admission confirmation:
Original Mark List of Standard XII / ‘A Level’ and/or Standard X / ‘O Level’ along with the original Transfer / Migration Certificate
Passport and Visa copy / Copy of Citizenship Card** - for Nepal & Bhutan students only
Passport size photo (6 numbers)

Note: *For obtaining Equivalence Certificate from District Education Officer and Provisional Eligibility Certificate (PEC) from Anna University, Chennai, Excel Admission Cell will render support to the candidate.

**For NEPAL and BHUTAN students VISA and Residential Permit / Stay Visa are not needed.
