The eligibility for a student to join BBA course shall be a pass in HSC. Preference should be given for commerce and accountancy streams.

BACHELOR OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS (BCA)

A candidate who has passed in Higher Secondary Examination with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Computer Science or Statistics or Computer Applications (Academic stream or Vocational stream) as one of the subject under Board of Higher Secondary Examination, Tamil Nadu as per norms set by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an Examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the syndicate

B. COM.

Candidate for admission to the first year of the UG degree programme shall be required to have passed the higher secondary examination (Academic or Vocational) conducted by the Govt. of Tamil Nadu in the relevant subjects or other examinations accepted as equivalent thereto by the Syndicate, subject to such other conditions as may be prescribed therefore.

B. COM. (ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE)

Any one of the subjects must be studied at the +2 level Accountancy/ Commerce/ Mathematics/ Business Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science.

B. COM. (COMPUTER APPLICATION)

Any one of the subjects must be studied at the +2 level Accountancy/ Commerce/ Mathematics/ Business Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/ Computer Technology / Information Technology.

B.SC. BIOCHEMISTRY

A candidate who has passed Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nādu Higher Secondary Board or an equivalent Examination other state board accepted. A pass in +2 passed with Chemistry as compulsory subject and studied Botany and Zoology or Biology shall be eligible for admission for B.Sc. Biochemistry.

B.SC. CLINICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY*

A candidate who has passed Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Board or an equivalent Examination under other state board is accepted. A pass in +2 passed with Chemistry as compulsory subject and studied Botany and Zoology or Biology shall be eligible for admission for B.Sc., Clinical Laboratory Technology degree examination of this University after a course of study of three academic years.

B.SC. COMPUTER SCIENCE,                        B.SC. AI & DS*,            B.SC. CYBER SECURITY*

A candidate who has passed in Higher Secondary Examination with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Computer Science or Statistics or Computer Applications (Academic stream or Vocational stream) as one of the subjects under Board of Higher Secondary Examination, Tamil Nadu as per norms set by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an Examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the syndicate

B.SC. COSTUME DESIGN AND FASHION

Candidates seeking admission to the first-year degree of Bachelor of Science in Costume Design and Fashion shall be required to have passed in any Higher Secondary Course examination (Regular academic or Vocational) of the state board/CBSE/ICSE or other examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the syndicate, subject to such other conditions as may be prescribed. Pass in any three-year Diploma in Fashion/Costume/Textile/Apparel related course is eligible to admit in direct second year of this UG course.

B.SC

 DATA SCIENCE

A candidate who has passed in Higher Secondary Examination with Mathematics or Computer Science or Statistics as one of the subject under Board of Higher Secondary Examination, Tamil Nadu as per norms set by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an Examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the syndicate, subject to such conditions as may be prescribed, are permitted to appear and qualify for the Bachelor of Science in Data Science degree examination of this university after a programme of study of three academic year.

B.Sc

MATHEMATICS

A Pass in the Higher Secondary Examination of Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Board or some other Board accepted by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto with Mathematics (other than Business Mathematics) as one of the subjects.

B.Sc

MICROBIOLOGY

A candidate who has passed higher secondary examination in any one of the biological sciences (Botany, Zoology, Biology). (Academic/Vocational stream – Agri, Home Science, Poultry) under higher secondary board of examination, Tamil Nadu or as per norms set by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an examination accepted as Equivalent thereto by the Syndicate.

PHYSICS

Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the Bachelor of Science – Physics shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu or an Examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the Syndicate.

B.SC. TEXTILES & FASHION DESIGNING

Candidate seeking admission to the first year Degree of Bachelor of Science in Textile and Fashion Designing shall be required to have passed in any Higher Secondary course examination (Regular academic or Vocational) of the State Board/CBSE/ICSE or other examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the Syndicate, subject to such other conditions as may be prescribed. Pass in any three-year Diploma in Fashion/Costume/Textile/Apparel related course is eligible to admit in direct second year of this UG course.

B.SC (VISUAL COMMUNICATION)

A pass in Higher Secondary Examination or an Examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the syndicate (10+2- or 10+3-year Diploma), subject to such conditions as may be prescribed thereto are permitted to appear and qualify for the Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication Degree Examination of this university after a course of study of three academic years

M.A. ENGLISH

A candidate who passed any Bachelor degree of this University or any Bachelor degree of any Other University accepted by the syndicate as equivalent thereto.

Pass in B. Com, B. Com (CA), B. Com (e-com), B.B. A, B.B.M, BBA/BBM (CA), B.COM (Corporate Secretaryship), B. Com (Corporate Secretaryship) with CA, BCS, BCS (CA), B. A (Corporate Secretaryship), B. Com (Accounting & Finance), B.Com (Security Marketing Practices) B.Com (Financial Marketing Analytics) and B.COM. (Professional Accounting).

A candidate who has passed in B.Sc. Computer Science / B.C.A / B.Sc. Computer Technology / B.Sc. Information Science / B.Sc. Information Technology degree of this University or any of the degree of any other University accepted by the syndicate as equivalent thereto subject to such conditions as may be prescribed therefore shall be permitted to appear and qualify for the M.Sc. Computer Science degree examination of this University after a course of study of two academic years.

Candidate who has passed the B.Sc. degree in any Life Sciences[ Microbiology / Applied Microbiology/Industrial Microbiology/Botany/Plant Sciences and Plant Biotechnology / Zoology / Animal Science/Applied Animal Science and Animal Biotechnology / Biochemistry/Bioinformatics/Biology/Food Science & Nutrition/ /B.Sc. Medical Lab Technology / BSMS/BAMS/BUMS/BHMS/Chemistry with Botany/Zoology]as Allied Subjects of this University or an Examination of any other University accepted by the Syndicate as equivalent there to shall be eligible for admission to M.Sc. Degree Course in Applied Microbiology. Candidate shall be admitted to the examination only if he/she has taken the qualifying degree in Science/Medical subjects as mentioned after having completed the prescribed courses consisting of twelve years of study and has passed the qualifying examination.
