Organon of Medicine and Homoeopathic Philosophy is the bedrock of Homoeopathy as it contains the basic fundamentals in treating the patients. And it is taught to the 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th Year BHMS students according to the syllabus prescribed by Central Council of Homoeopathy, New Delhi. Special focus is emphasized on teaching Aphorisms of Organon along with Philosophy including Psychology.

Along with the theory classes, the students also get special training in the practical and applied part of Organon including clinical sessions and case discussions. The Department is well equipped with a Museum including Portraits and Charts. The Department also has a separate well-equipped library with all essential Source books and Reference books including journals and articles. Seminars and Inter-departmental sessions are conducted regularly to improve the Knowledge and Clinical Skills of students aiming at making them more professionally competent.
