Three Days – Basic And Advanced Ozone Therapy Training Program

Campus Drive

Excel Medical College for Naturopathy and Yoga successfully hosted a 3-day Basic and Advanced Ozone Therapy Workshop in collaboration with the Ozone Forum of India, becoming the first college in India to conduct this dual-level program. A total of 40 participants from varied healthcare disciplines including MBBS, BSMS, BPT, MPT, BNYS, and medical interns took part in this intensive and transformative learning experience. The sessions were led by esteemed ozone therapy experts Dr. Mili Shah and Dr. Jignasha Captain, who delivered not only in-depth theoretical knowledge but also facilitated a highly interactive and immersive hands-on training program. Participants had the unique opportunity to work directly with clinical ozone therapy equipment under expert supervision, practicing techniques such as ozonated saline infusions, ear and rectal insufflations, limb bagging, and localized ozone applications. These practical sessions allowed the attendees to gain real-time clinical exposure, skill refinement, and confidence in applying ozone therapy in patient care. The structured self-evaluation at the end of the workshop helped participants assess their understanding and readiness for clinical implementation. The event received exceptional feedback for its practical relevance and depth of training. The program was expertly coordinated by Organizing Chairperson Dr. Malathi R, with the support of committee members Dr. Deebika and Dr. Sugash Abinav. Dr. Monisha managed accommodation and promotions, Dr. Logasudhan oversaw transportation, and the technical support was provided by Dr. Simon Marvel Singh and Mr. Venmani Sadam. A team of enthusiastic student volunteers from the Third-Year – 2021 Batch — Ms. Aarthi L, Ms. Lavanya B, Ms. Priyadharshini K, Ms. Reethu Visali B, Ms. Varsha S, Mr. Madhan V, Mr. Nithishkumar R, and Mr. Naveen Kumar P — played a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of the event.
