Magizh’ 2025 – Pongal Celebration

As the harvest season arrives, the spirit of joy and gratitude fills the air, and here at EMCNY, we recently celebrated the much-awaited festival of Pongal on 11.01.2025. This traditional festival, celebrated with immense enthusiasm in South India, marks the end of the winter solstice and the beginning of a new harvest season. Our college community came together to celebrate this cultural extravaganza, bringing people from different backgrounds to experience the vibrancy of Pongal. The event was grandly organized by our third year – 2021 Batch students. The event was successfully coordinated by Dr Keertheesvar, Asst. Professor, Dept. of Nutrition & Herbology.
