Induction Program

The Induction program was organized with the aim to provide an ideal platform for the freshers. It was a judicious mix with expert interactions, academic discourse and student activities to keep the freshers engrossed and engaged during the entire 5-Day period from 21^st Oct to 25^th Oct, 2024 at Excel Mini Auditorium, Pharmacy Block, Komarapalayam; 200 students from 2022-2024 batches were participated.

The Inaugural session of the induction program was started with a hearty welcome and Lighting of the lamp followed by the distribution of Aprons to the students – Whitecoat Ceremony. The Guest of Honour for the day was Dr.Y.Deepa, HOD – Manipulative Therapy, GYNMC, Chennai felicitated by Dr.R.Malathi, Principal EMCNY. Further Dr.Deepa extended her warm welcome to the students and expressed aboutthe importance of BNYS course and developing futuristic orientation.

The guest speaker for Day – 2 Induction program was Dr. Sujin Herbert, Founder of Paradise Naturopathy Hospital & AMO – Govt. PHC, Takkali who kept the students hooked with his versatile talk and explained the “Principles of Naturopathy” in a lucid and interesting manner. Finally, Speaker was felicitated by Dr.R.Malathi, Principal EMCNY.

On Day – 3 the guest speaker was Dr. Moovendan, AMO – GYNMC, Chennai expressed his views on the topic “Opportunities after BNYS and Importance of Research”. Freshers really enjoined this session. Finally, Speaker was felicitated by Dr. R. Malathi, Principal EMCNY.

Dr. Harini, Founder of Blooming Belly, Coimbatore addressed a gathering as a Guest Speaker on Day – 4 with the topic “Scope of Naturopathy in the field of Obstetrics – Natural Birthing”. She highlighted the role of emotional well-being in the professional and personal development of an individual. Finally, Speaker was felicitated by Dr. R. Malathi, Principal EMCNY.

The Guest speaker for final day was Dr.Pradeep MK Nair; CMO & Head of Research, Mirakle Integrated Health Center, Pollachi addressed a session on “Philosophy and Principles of Naturopathy”. Using real life examples he explained the significant of awakening our social consciousness as a way to serve the society. Finally, Speaker was felicitated by Dr. R. Malathi, Principal EMCNY.
